We have a Mom&Dad democracy. No one else around. Mom is going to do what Mom always does.

Voters can't mature in this system. So, your request is logical, but the Democrats are going to do what Democrats always do. They will end up making (enough) people not wanting to vote for them, handing control back to Dad.

We have a two-party system. Red and Blue. The third primary color Yellow is not around. You (we) are not allowed to leave the House. No shopping for you (us).

Because Yellow cannot get expressed by itself, it will literally creep into red (becoming orange) and blue (becoming green); warping red and blue in the process.

We need to liberate Yellow and become a mature democracy in which blue can stay blue, and red can stay red. We need the USA 2.0 upgrade.

The true winner of all our elections has always been (not kidding) the Losing Party. Of the three parties, it always won.
