A very interesting perspective, Dr. Bernaerts. At the same time, I would be surprised if there is not a good approximation in science for the word that all can agree on.
I see science truly as having two realms: the golden and the silver realm. Results are either repeatable, or scientists have to work with the body at hand that itself is not repeatable.
I am thinking for instance of Archaeology. The finds cannot be repeated elsewhere in a laboratory.
Demanding falsification can be done in the golden realm of science, but there is no logic to demand falsification for areas that cannot be repeated.
The prime example is of course the materialization process. I have been frustrated over the years because scientists refuse to discuss my Big Whisper theory. It is about the ending of the prior state of the universe, which is by itself not in dispute. All scientists agree that matter is a result, and not the original. Newton would approve my setup.
