The Idea of Beauty is directly related to what we see, hear, experience and understand. The Idea of God is indirect, and needs to be grounded first before we can deal with the Idea.
In other words, before we can discuss God, we have to make God real. If God is the creator, then we must ask what God used to create creation.
Naturally, when there is nothing else around, then God could have only used God godself, or at least parts of God godself, to establish creation.
That means we have two levels, automatically, when we discuss God. There is the God who is whole, and there is the God who cannot be whole as soon as creation was created.
A very good article, Eric, I read it with much pleasure. I like it when people think about God and you seem to have a lot of knowledge about perceptions folks have about God.
Many people do not delve into the Idea of God godself and rather treat God as if it were an aspect like Beauty or a City or even the mentioned Good. Only when we are real about God, only then can we discuss God.
