The USA in other people's view is a right-leaning nation. I never used the word fascist until I saw that Noam Chomsky used it to describe the USA. Because of the political restrictions in place, a large political gap exists in which folks cannot express themselves. These political restrictions benefit large companies and the political elite. Said differently, politicians sit on their hands, do not do all that much. Hence, we can witness a fascist tilt because non-regulation tends to benefit these large companies and the political elite.
Yes, there is stability, but there is also an undermining of society that continues until the next crisis. People cannot express themselves fully, politically, and that leads to severe dissatisfaction. Societal stability is not guaranteed in this political system, which is funny because the two-party system is the most stable -- if only they delivered for all and not just for the special groups. And that is the whole problem: our politicians are not delivering. The Supreme Court has to step in where Congress is too feeble to make decisions. Congress does too little and that makes this nation have a right-leaning tilt, conservative in nature, not keeping up with modern times.
The Founding Fathers never envisioned a two-party system. We can still get what they delivered, but we have to work it. Want change? Read about that in this article:
